CHINESE ASTROLOGY UPDATE by Liu Ming
The Qi Node Winter Begins continues. The qi is back to Winter course of “in and down”. Bundle up, even if it does not seem cold as the wind carries Cold Harm. Think snuggling and then meditation.10th Moon 2013 :: GUI HAI – WATER PIG “Forest Pig”
WATER is the native element of the Pig Earthly Branch. Water Pig moon is volatile, full of obsessive stickiness and appetite for social life. Much can happen around career, personal and financial experiments. It is easy to develop preoccupations that go past caring into jealousy and envy. There will be the urge to squander qi trying to please others. Volatile emotions compromise immunity and suicide will make sense to many people. Our maternal ancestors haunt this moon. If we resolve our unsettled ancestors’ negativity (with unprecedented generosity) we will experience great spiritual potential.

Tidy up your ancestor altar and invite the beneficent ancestors into your home. Be still and reward is given. Exertion brings loss. Yang of the sun (10 day cycle) peaks and sheds the superfluous. Remember at this time of year, weak is not weak – it is appropriate. Strong (yang outward) is not strong it’s compulsively destructive. Consult the oracle. Large Intestine channel is open but scant environmental qi available for treatments. Short and simple acupuncture treatments are best.
