Yin WOOD GOAT – 2015

YI WEI

The year of the “Respected Goat”

Year :: begins February 19th and ends on February 7th, 2016

thanks and much love to Liu Ming

Astrology and geomancy are two premier subjects of Asia’s classical mantic arts. Their development in China over the last 2,500 years continues a tradition whose history is incalculable. Many methods of divination/calculation exist in that tradition. Some are planetary others are simply mathematically cyclical. The system used here and spoken about today is called the Celestial Stems (yin/yang and 5 elements) and Earthly Branches (12 animals)[1] and is not at all exhaustive or precise – it is offered as a very simple general guide.

In the traditional Chinese mantic arts, Fate is not the “whole story” because in some sense Fate and Freedom alternate.

Fate’s most bitter edge is the apparently “un-learnable” lesson – repeated inauspicious conduct. We have all probably said: “I can’t believe I did that again!”

Freedom’s worthless edge is sloth. Squandering freedom is common.

Most of us spend most of our time in the vagaries in between. It is my sincerest hope that these annual presentations will help to resolve the bitter edges of our Fate and encourage us to use our Freedom to help others (a healthy gesture that arises naturally from Freedom).

Fate is the qi predisposition we have due to precedents referred to as ancestors in the Chinese Tradition and karma in Buddhism. The ever-present option to respond to circumstances as they arise is an expression of our true nature or freedom. Together these two create the dynamic of Life.

To understand the system of the 12 Earthly Branches, or Chinese Zodiac Animal Astrology, we must study the images as a flow of 12, 60, and 120 year cycles.

Sequence: HORSE (2014) to GOAT (2015)

The Wood Horse (2014) winter is characterized by a ‘slightly tamed colt’. The concern for freedom at any cost now naturally collapses into the more considerate and aesthetic patterns of the Wood Goat year. The qi spreads wider and, though still youthful, expresses gentleness. Immaturity continues but willingly accepts education and a course in manners.

To understand the “qi profile” of the Goat, it is useful to look at the image of the Goat in Chinese astrology/culture. Remember that the Goat is only a paradigmatic image for the qi available this year.

GOAT Key Word: Aesthetic

Native Element : Yin EARTH

Auspicious Direction is SOUTH (30 degrees) West

Correspondences: 1-3pm , 6th moon, black pine tree, emerald

IMAGE:

When qi-charged: easy-going, artistic (visual and musical), cooperative, persuasive, quiet, charming, kind, encouraging, generous, compromising and supportive.

When qi-deplete: fussy, worrisome, anxious, nervous, impatient, perfectionist. intolerant, cranky, incommunicative when flustered, fearful of confrontation and stubborn.

The Goat talked about in Chinese Astrology is the domesticated mountain goat. It is well known to the early religion of China as the perfect sacrificial offering made to the ancestors. Though this may sound grim, it is more about being honored than being killed. The Goat’s artistic character is the basic instinct to communicate beyond words; to make the world beautiful. This art is designed to remind us, not only of a pleasant surface, but also a common spirit. Happy in egalitarian small herds, the Goat is a very adaptable sign, sure-footed in steep and rough terrain and interested in cooperation on all levels. Material objects serve the Goat when they are tastefully arranged to express what cannot be said.

Compatibility: Goats thrive in family life, but can create “family” in many ways. They can think of family as an ideological, social and/or political circle. For security reasons they often choose Tiger, Pig and Rabbit partners. Their adaptability makes just about anyone suitable, as they are always willing to accommodate. Only the Ox seems impossibly distant and rigid.

In 2015 the Yin Wood of the year (character) is like a young daughter asking its Yin Earth mother (nature) about what is truly valuable about life. The gentle dialog touches on justice, art and the Goat-like sense of perseverance.

Famous GOATS: Michelangelo, Paul Gauguin, Mark Twain, Franz Liszt, Thomas Rudolph Valentino, Lawrence Olivier, Rachel Carson, Pierre Trudeau, Bill Gtaes, Barbara Walters, Orville Wright, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Bruce Willis, George Harrison, Mick Jagger, Joni Mitchell, Julio Iglesias, Robert De Niro, Fellini, Kate Hudson, Matt LeBlanc, Chow Yun-Fat, Zhang Ziyi, Li Shimin (Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty 618 – 907), Cao Cao (King of Wei in China’s Three Kingdoms Period 220 – 280), Yue Fei (a patriotic general in China’s South Song Dynasty 1127 – 1279), Empress Dowager Cixi

FIVE TYPES OF GOAT

The 60 zodiac animals of Chinese astrology are archetypes, that is, they represent the diversity of human characters while also referring to the cyclical transformations of qi that are Time itself. Though the most popular presentations are about the human character, it is important to remember these archetypes also characterize the cycles of hours, days, months and years of the traditional Asian lunar calendar.

As archetypes they can be explained in terms of their socially relative qualities making up the complex of human society or as the way in which a splendid infinite universe ornaments itself. Of the twelve main zodiac animals, Goats are the idealistic aesthetes of the zodiac, representing our universal interest in a just and beautiful world.

In 2015 Yin WOOD sits on Yin EARTH

WOOD GOAT (2015) “Respected Goat”

Wood Goats are industrious, sincere and disciplined characters. They mature quickly; attract helpers and work diligently towards great success. They have great good fortune (positive karma). Many friends and their children will support them. Their strong constitution will give them good health and long life.

44) DING WEI – FIRE GOAT (2027) “Solitary Goat”

Fire Goats are high-strung, moody and successful. They have great good fortune and find it easy to set goals and reach them. They always live in prosperity and comfort. Argumentative and self-assured, they often offend others and leave themselves emotionally stranded. Their male sibling relationships are difficult. Fire Goats have children late in life. Their moodiness is associated with exhaustion caused by nagging, minor chronic illnesses and kidney disorders.

56) JI WEI – EARTH GOAT (2039) “Mountain Goat”

EARTH is the native element of the Goat Earthly Branch. Earth Goats are proud, argumentative and aloof characters. They are critical of everyone and have many enemies. Their friends are loyal but their fate is uneven. They often have conflicts or confusion with the opposite sex. A strong and powerful person protects them. Their doubting character creates a constant tension in their lives that undermines their kidneys and nervous system.

8) XI WEI – METAL GOAT (2051) “Wealthy Goat”

Metal Goats are gentle, forgiving and aesthetic characters. Their humility does not make them quiet – they gossip allot. An uneven fortune (connected to enemies) visits them when young but is resolved. Old age brings a brighter and brighter fate. They find good partners, but often have no children or only difficult children. An oldest son born this year will not support his parents/siblings. Though physically strong, they have a weak memory and often suffer from kidney ailments.

20) GUEI WEI – WATER GOAT (2063) “Herded Goat”

Water Goats are talkative, sentimental and persevering characters. Their attachments to people and things cloud their wisdom. Their generosity is unfailing. Rarely thanked for their work they nevertheless are strong helpers. They are often robbed or make poor judgments in financial matters and their fortune does not smooth out until old age (60+). Though rarely ill their illness tend to be complex and hard to diagnose and/or treat.

General Auspices for

Yin WOOD GOAT Year :: 2015

The WOOD GOAT year is a year of Renewal and Maturation

.

The year of the Wood Goat offers a fresh start – a kind of visionary make-over. The sign is associated with aesthetics but not in the modernist merchant’s notion of artifice or superficial decoration. The aesthetics of the Goat are more-or-less why Saint Paul’s Cathedral is not the same a Daotokuji’s Zen Hall. It is the aesthetic of our deepest thought/feelings; maybe even the vision of our ever-fresh awareness of Life. It is collective and cultural but we can also adapt it to our individual lives. Particularly the WOOD Goat is a start over year and not a curatorial year. Fresh and inspired must replace tired and oppressive. This will polarize tradition and innovation. Unlike the rascally pony of 2014 we can expect compromise and dedication to harmony from the Goat year – no innovation for the sake of innovating. The Wood Goat is also all about caring a great deal for the group (herd). Though it is nothing but a “kid”, or a lamb, it has power to move mountains and reshape its environment. It is innocence (Wood) with immeasurable power over Rulers (Earth). This mysterious power of the Wood Goat is related to the simplicity and naturalness of children – the ones who say the darndest things. Like: why do people fight? Why are you so angry? Why are you so fat? – without the least bit of malice or expectation.

This innocence offers a tremendous potential for new thoughts, compromise, new alliances and release from oppression. Can you make it happen? In Chinese astrology, the Wood Goat is only potential – will you contribute to the peace and harmony is suggests? Will you make the world a more balanced, fair and beautiful place? Please remember, in the Chinese Tradition there is no God (external puppeteer) and no prophets (fortune-tellers) just the revolving and cyclical potential of shifting qi.

The shift to Wood Goat qi will happen fast in Spring. Opportunity to improve yourself and the world around you will open up. Make alliances quickly before the Yang forward qi of Summer (so things can get done). In Autumn plan to refine and perfect your new vision and action pattern. Let winter mature the vision-action and take root in the years to come.

In the last Wood GOAT year:

(1955) President Eisenhower sends “advisers” to Vietnam; Southeast Asia Treaty Organization is formed; the FDA approves the Salk (polio) vaccine; the first McDonald’s opens in Illinois; “fish fingers” come on the market; the Warsaw Pact is signed by 8 Eastern European countries; Disneyland opens in Anaheim, CA; Satyjit Ray’s film Pather Pancali is released; first Guinness Book of Records is published in London; James Dean dies in a car crash; Rosa Parks refuses to give up her seat on the bus; Emmett Till is murdered; Marian Anderson sings at the Met; General Motors is the first American corporation to record profits in excess of a billion dollars; ‘In God We Trust’ gets printed on paper money.

World Politics – Wood Goats are political idealists with a chance to make real changes this year. In the industrial countries newness has just become a slogan. Let’s practice idealism and throw off the gloomy complacency in the USA. Can we do it? Will you do it?

Treaties and alliances will be made in many places. There may even be a pause in fighting/war as peaceful solutions will appeal to almost everyone. There is also an aspect of Wood Goat idealism that does not have defense contingent plans, so betrayal and slaughter cannot be ruled out. The qi of this year supports the notion that every betrayed and butchered Goat will be immediately replaced by another, even more idealistic Goat.

For every person who listens to their children, makes peace within their families and supports basic human rights this Wood-Goat-treaty qi will grow in the hearts of leaders. Do not disenfranchise yourself – be as stubborn as a Goat – and if you fall off; jump right back up. Your every action counts.

Over the last two generations in the modern industrial world we have come to assume that the rights and privileges we have are hard won (working and fighting hard). In fact no being has rights or privileges anywhere in Space or Time that are not the gifts given by and upheld by everyone else on Earth and in Heaven. Every sentient being has the instinct to give to and protect every other being on Earth. In the Chinese Tradition, every one of us must be vigilant in our generosity and stand up for those who need protecting. Let the Wood Goat year wake you up from complacency and the trance of entertainment, to love and protect each other like the proper herd we are.

Business/Finance – The financial picture worldwide, we are told, is bad and getting worse. The thing is, those who tell this story are retrospective and old-fashioned in their notions of wealth. Those who wish to succeed in business this year will need to innovate, expand their thinking (and products) and go green (idealism). Sustainable, local business appeals to the Wood Goat sense of community and it will be on many, many peoples’ minds. The Wood Goat perseverance and sense of balance will give many new businesses a good start. Popular internet donation/investment financing will grow.

On a corporate level BIG will buy BIG and imagine that it is sustainable, but the end is coming for that monolithic sort of business. Wood Goat year is not about revolution but about compromise and innovation – start over.

Romance/Relationship/Family – The Wood Goat is innocence. Sex and romance dim for everyone – well, almost everyone. Warmer than Wood Horses, the Wood Goat will make romantic comedies a favorite entertainment. College bromance and sisterhood gangs on campus will out-shine the weddings.

Hanging in groups will be the only place to find a partner and even then intimacy will go slow. I know, I know the Chinese have long paid a premium price for Goat testicles for making male aphrodisiac soups – but yin Wood Goats are lambs (no balls). LOL

It is a good time to end a stagnant relationship. A new and younger partner may be very appealing. If you have children love the daylights out of them.

Parents should really always be open to listening to their children but this is especially true in 2015. No matter what year they were born in they are Wood Goat like. The long-term effect of caring for children now can be splendid. Do not just entertain them. Give them responsibilities and a chance to grow up caring for others. Encourage them to join teams, clubs and wider social circles (avoid competition and aggressive sports).

It is a great year for them to learn the rules of a dojo.

Respectable mentoring will have auspicious results.

Laozi tells us that teachers and students are the crux of life if they are BOTH ruled by respect. When teachers respect their students and students respect their teachers the Great Procession can continue. This processional inheritance, according to Confucius, is not a mere convention or orthodoxy but the constant awakening of our humanity. In the Wood Goat year the Procession is the community.

Health – Generally speaking, Wood Goat year gives basic healing and recovery a renewed chance for everyone. Healing from your own personal disciplines (food, exercise) will be common. Plant medicine will work wonders. There will be a social conundrum in the USA about a national health system tied to pharmaceutical industry – socialized medicine for the poor is likely to be seen as hazardous and the price of and education about alternatives should be an intense debate. Should everybody be on drugs? Is that justice? Yipes – there is a lot to think about.

Turning to new physicians and new medical models is a good idea. Fresh start can actually unseat chronic conditions.

Many people will join gyms and spa treatments will grow in popularity. It is easy in a Wood Goat year to mistake vanity for self-healthcare. Snake oil will sell well. Eating too much kale and turmeric will create long-term side effects.

The rapport between healer and patient is always important but in a Wood Goat year it can actually be the cure. Trusting your doctor will actually reduce statistical risks.

Practitioners should be careful to NOT over-treat.

Spiritual Matters – The Wood Goat is a novice nun, but she joins the order for its great momentum and stability and not so much for doctrines and philosophy. Parish, kula, sangha, ashram and all forms of spiritual and religious community are a real refuge this year. Reciting the name of God, singing hymns and chanting mantras with a community will be deeply inspiring. Wood Goat is a bit Protestant, so charismatics beware. The Wood Goat qi will form a strong community and criticize if not dispense with leaders who do not walk their talk. Goats are up and running only a few hours after birth so even a Wood Goat year will bring down overly powerful gurus.

The spiritual community should be a “love ambush” not a school of philosophy.

Switching communities will be common. New arrivals will be uncountable.

Refurbishing, restoring and even building new churches and temples will happen worldwide.

Lost Babies DESCEND

The type of spirit/ghost that haunts 2015 are those that died prenatally or in the first 2 years of life. Unfamiliar with the notions of home they wander in large and small groups gathering at night on the coasts and in playgrounds. “Not knowing life they do not complete death”. They do not haunt by “showing themselves” or asking for help; they are too shy. They are traditionally invited to the Ullambana Festival each year (two weeks of the 7th lunar month – mid-August 2015). On those days food and drink are laid out as offerings for those stuck in Hell realms, intermediate ghost realms and those that died in war. Not all miscarried babies or abortions create ghosts but it has been a long-held custom that everyone welcomes those babies who are ghosts to have something to eat and hear and experience the many rituals performed meant to release that month.

If you have a family altar at home, set aside at least one day in late August to display nice food and drink; at dusk, throw the offerings in a small bonfire. In your heart pray for the liberation of all sentient beings and imagine them ascending into the sky with the smoke and passing through the gates of Heaven.

Not everyone is an artist. Not everyone is an aesthete. All of us however can support and appreciate art and beautiful environments. To directly experience the qi of the Wood Goat spend some time beautifying the world, your house, your front yard or neighborhood. There is no need to follow established styles or popular tastes but take a good look at what you own, what your wear and how you look. Are you expressing your nature in your appearance? Does your home give you qi and joy? It may be time for a make over and a stagnant clutter blitzkrieg.

The message of the Wood Goat in 2015 is to wake up from the trance of entertainment. Since World War II it is not the power of commercial TV, or cable news or internet social networks (porn) that has distracted you; it is you that distracts you. Yet many, many people find themselves in a dull trance crowded with personal menus of entertainment. Imagining that they have rights they watch their humanity become complacency like an HBO series, blockbuster of special effects. In 2015 Heaven and Earth (cycles) give us the chance to get our humanity back – but it is up to you. Will you accept the gift and recall your humanity – wake up? The Wood Goat year is not a dramatic call-to-arms, not a film or a mini-series … it needs no slogans or Facebook quotes … it calls us to remember our humanity and perseveringly give every sentient being a chance to learn and grow.

12 Basic Animal Signs :: Auspices in 2015

The following information compares each of the twelve zodiac archetypes with one of 60 – the Wood Goat that dominates 2015. This comparison gives a rough approximation of the auspices for each sign in the year of the Wood GOAT. (A more personal and specific reading is found in the progressions of stars in your Polestar natal chart). Remember that the lunar year begins on the 19th of February 2015.

Roughly: (0) = not particularly good/bad :: (+) = good auspices in some ways :: (++) the best auspices all around :: (-) = not too bad if you have modest worldly ambitions :: (–) = bad auspices and obstacles all around

RAT (0) 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 Thorough/Fragmented

The year for Rats should be, at best, uneventful. It will however be a respite from 2014 – a quieter, warmer and safer year. It may take a few moons to trust 2015 so keep your expectations low and do not make any big decisions or changes. The lack of new opportunities should not be mistaken for obstacles – the ship has not sunk, just the wind has died down. Eat well, get rest and do not press forward or get anxious about life – be glad for the calm sea. It is not a good year for romance (to be chosen is better than choosing). Learn to appreciate your everyday good fortune. The Water Rat (1972) knows best how to adapt to the Goat year.

OX (-) 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009 Reliable/Insensitive

Advising you to avoid the new and be steady is redundant to your character, but the year of the Goat will make your strength and independence feel like aggression and solitude if you don’t drop some of your ambitions. Stay put, hang on and learn to appreciate your accomplishments. You will be surprised that you cannot please everyone but it will be because you are not listening properly. Not only should you learn a bit about cooperation this year, you should also comply with the good counsel around you (indecision will haunt you). Don’t just be a helper; get help. Earth Ox (1949), you know the drill, just keep on truckin’.

TIGER (-) 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010 Daring/Selfish

Your potential strength (and shyness) do not suit the Goat year times. Your strength will scare away resources and missed opportunities will be the result of your shyness. Hypocrisy is generally not an option for Tigers so you will have to learn that teamwork is best – even though you think everybody is incompetent. The thing is “difference” in a Goat year is seen as what we have in common – get it. You are not the only one with skill and power. Let the lamb climb on your back and fall off again and again. Smile. Appreciate the gentle wisdom. If you have a partner, avoid the suffocating jealousy routine – control is not an emotion. Your feelings of inappropriateness will bring forward embedded causes of poor health – take care of yourself and learn to trust a healer-physician. This year there will be no easy “time out” for you so tone down the drama and progress and spend some time in simple self-reflection. Earth Tigers (1938 / 1998) can rest on their laurels.

RABBIT (++) 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011 Intuitive/Muddled

This year ends a bit of a rough run. Rabbits find Goats are trustworthy and that’s all it takes to make the year shine for you. Spend some time artfully re-decorating (with advice from a fengshui expert) and have a makeover and spa treatments this year. These apparently superficial activities will bring on very good qi. If you have a partner, hang on – things will go well, though forgiveness may play a part. If you are available, use your intuition freely. Spend money as an investment and not as a consumer. Build a legacy. For everything to sail forward you will need to do the hard work of forgiving (not easy for you) your imperfect friends, colleagues and family members – give it a try though. Stop nagging and give others some support. Let the Goat year’s generosity solve your solitude. Vote and use social networks just for fun.

DRAGON (+) 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 Powerful/Aloof

You are left in charge of the BIG and impossible dreams this year. The Goat year is about social and political activity so, though dreaming plays a part, the scale and measure of things will seem small to you. You will feel hemmed in by the popular details and the hard-ass practicality of the year. Thing is, though the year is far from perfect for your type of qi, you could learn allot from teamwork and cooperation if you chose to. The alternative is to hibernate and plan out the possibilities of the coming years. Your attitude may seem impossible to tolerate for those near you so you may lose a partner to divorce or get fired this year. Take this as an indication to retreat and self-cultivate – go deep. Remember everyone relies on you to carry forward the BIG dream (any way you can).

SNAKE (–) 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013 Mystical/Weak

Your character has a built-in survival kit that will come in handy this year. While everyone is gathering together to “make a just world” you can play deaf, dumb and blind. Do nothing in particular or sudden and those around you will include you in their plans and good fortunes. The Goat year’s idealism makes you drowsy and the best way to avoid being offensive is to disappear into the scenery (something you are very good at). Your insight should be geared towards retirement, no matter your age, because everybody else will be crowding into the vanguard of commitment and action. In relationships try to keep a lid on jealousy, avoid arguments, and spend a little more time on romance (ask someone what romance means). If you have been planning retreat for years it is a real good year to withdraw into the mountains. Everything good that happens this year is the result of previous action/effort. Snakes who maintain their natural low-profile will do fine.

HORSE (+) 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002 Capable/Dull

The Goat year has good fortune waiting for you but you will need to create new and appropriate ways to handle it. Last year, whether it was splendid or wasted, has put you in an awkward relationship to the opportunities in 2015. You need to trim the sails as soon as possible. Most importantly you need to find out what the Goat means by “playing fair” and not overdo it with your renewed strength. Horses prone to bridles and yolks will do very well – wild ponies will be caught, gelded and broken – up to you. If you have already accepted the saddle, 2015 will go well on all fronts. Education and professional training will be very fruitful. Working in teams will increase your productivity enormously. By the summer months the shape of the year will be set. Consult the oracle in Spring and comply with the advice immediately.

GOAT (++) 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 Idealistic/Morbid

2015 for Goats is splendid. Everyone will seek out the way of Goats. Be as Goat-like as you like – short of self-righteousness. You are free to reinvent yourself. You can make all or none of the BIG changes: move house, change jobs, emigrate, get married or divorced and/or begin a new self-health discipline. Start a new course of education, expand your social circle and if health issues arise be a very compliant patient. It is a good year to become a parent and downsize your home if the kids have grown up. If you aren’t working at what you do best; it is a good time to change that. Redecorate, remodel or build a home from plans you draw up. Add to tasteful collections or start a new collection. Your competence at work will shine so beware of jealousy from co-workers. Avoid competition in all areas of life and the year will be splendid.

MONKEY(–) 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004 Dynamic/Unstable

Impulsive and sudden moves are a specialty of yours. In a Goat year that sort of behavior will be misread as false and aggressive so you will need to chill out on tangled and risky situations this year. Do not take risks, even if you are certain to escape or be rescued. Inappropriate lurching will ruin your reputation. The tangles of your intimate relationships (that usually you can handle) this year will put you at a disadvantage. Temper and emotional pressure could turn people away – so be mellow. Save rather than spend your qi and cash for next year. Being overlooked at work is not a reason to quit. Pick the ticks off your tribe’s back and get ready for 2016. You might turn out to be the Monkey King! Monkeys who admire their boss, mentor or teacher will do fine.

ROOSTER (-) 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005 Intelligent/Proud

Your remarkable skills of discrimination and analysis (and your love of leading and attention) are the opposite of Goat-herd-making. Adding to your circle of admirers will be fraught with complications. Family life could become a complex squabble. Using your attention retrospectively is best. Rethink plans, operation procedures and criticize stuff, not people. Call in debts and accounts receivable to patch over the temporary slow down in earnings. Polish your diplomacy and charm – do a bit less criticism and rejection. Be grateful to those that stick by you and always have. Earth Roosters (1969) will adapt and do fine.

DOG (0) 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006 Loyal/Belligerent

Goats think of the Dog as a friendly wolf. They are the good wolves that patrol the edge of the Goat herd. However, the old predatory wolf image keeps the Dog an outsider. Dogs like strong and clear chains of command and Goats are egalitarian – almost socialist. It is not a good mix if Dogs project their authority over others this year. For Dogs the year should be about the Dog Pack they belong to (family, circle of close friends and mentor). It’s not that Dogs cannot be socialists, it just that they will not betray their allegiance to the Royal Family. Checking back in with your inner circle and mentors is most valuable. Do some long range planning and renew old camaraderie. In a process of retrospection you may find a gem. Earth Dogs (1958) would do well to monitor their health and get rid of a few bad habits. Fire Dogs (1946) put your wagons in a circle – work closely with the Pack.

PIG (+) 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007 Selfless/Indulgent

Rabbits, Goats and Pigs get along “wordlessly”. Goats and Pigs often partner up to “change the world”. They are good complements. This year Pigs, stunned by the Wood Horse impulses, will continue to feel bombarded until their qi is back in planned channels. Pigs in compatible relationships (bromance and sisterhood included) will surface with confidence in Spring 2015. Pigs only pretending to “belong” will be bacon by August. New relationships for the unattached will come along with new social circles, be sure you “fit in” with the circle before you commit to the individual. The first half the year will be full of new possibilities and opportunities at work; get some advice and help making transitions. You will need a good and long vacation to sort things out. Relaxation = clarity. Fire Pigs (1947) need help and assistance to realize bigger dreams. Earth Pigs (1959) need to dig in and stabilize their qi.
